Be the Boss of Your Luck

“Good Luck.” It is a phrase that we usually hear many times in different occasions. But, do you believe that luck has a significant role in success? Most people have different views about luck’s role in success. They differ in their opinions, just like how they still argue about which came first, the chicken or the egg.
“This person is lucky.” People would say this when they know that you are rich or when they see you walking with a beautiful lady. Two persons have the same qualifications, but one of them has more chances than the other.
Luck would affect some people’s lives. Sometimes they do nothing, but they get what other people killed themselves for. Some people believe in fate. They think that the ups and downs happen in their lives because of it. They cannot change it or control it. They just give up for it, never try, and say that it is bad luck. Maybe they did not do well and blame it for the bad luck. They do not want to admit their failure and say, “We didn’t work hard.”
On the other hand, some people never believe in luck, and never depend on it. “Success is simply a matter of luck. Ask any failure,” said Earl Wilson, an American Journalist. Those people do not make their plans according to their horoscopes. Yet, they follow the Japanese proverb, “The day you decide to do, it is your lucky day.” If they want to climb to the top of their dreams, they will be well prepared for that and never give bad luck a chance.
If you want to succeed, you have to work hard. But also, you will need someone at least to support and help you. This might be considered the little bit of hard luck. Although, it cannot be 100% true, people usually cannot succeed if there is not someone who encourages and backs them up.
Moreover, if you succeed alone, it will not look like a real success. People tend to share their success with others whom they love to make it bigger. Families and friends have a very supportive role in our lives. Having that propitious system would be considered the good luck.
If you have a dream, you should work hard to make it true. You cannot succeed if you keep blaming your luck and doing nothing. You will not get if you do not give. The dream does not follow you; you should follow it. You should fight, be patient, be ready to sacrifice for it, and never give it up. Remember, things that you get easily, you will lose easily. Luck might be a temporary window toward success, but it is not what will help you to stay successful.
